VanceS: range from lazy to assiduous

VanceS: generally prefer rote learning

BillC: great day so far, then?

VanceS: I had to work today but it was mainly meetings

BillC: guess it must be a little difficult getting earth breaking group
discussion going, huh?|

VanceS: no need for that, word processing, excel

SarathS: hello all

BillC: Hey, haven't seen you around before

SarathS: hi

VanceS: hi sarath

BillC: stuttering. . . ? Hate to figure out what i'm doing with it, then. .
.  :-0

SarathS: hmmm, I am just looking it up

VanceS: I teach a multiliteracies course for TESOL

VanceS: online, spare time

BillC: cool-- that in SL?

VanceS: no, no space there yet

BillC: by multiliteracies, do you mean multiple discourses, social
competencies and the like?

VanceS: I'm trying to get the urls but browsers are misbehaving

BillC: yeah, browsers sort of do that

VanceS: rather strange, two of them swimming

BillC: no flying ones. . ?

RitaZ: ah, great, Vance

VanceS: yep

BillC: . . .and you still manage to have a great social life in Webheads.
Kudos!

VanceS: you mean a social network life?

VanceS: it's my lifeblood

RitaZ: yeah, Bill, he can multitask as no one else can

BillC: yeah, you're right on that one. Half of the time while we're
chatting, Vance will type something. . .

VanceS types on keyboard, catches one ball, tosses it in air, types, catches
other ball ...

RitaZ: and thats what we know.... :-)

BillC: and before I'm done replying he has a whole list of links up for it

RitaZ: exactly

BillC: do you do torches also?

RitaZ: multi brained

VanceS: bill on the other hand is juggling drupal

BillC: yeah, it's been dropped a few times. . . :-)

BillC: but its getting better

RitaZ: ah, is he? nice to know, still nicer to meet you here, Bill,

BillC: thanks. You do CMSes too, Rita?

RitaZ :-))

RitaZ: not exactly, I have integrated some tch into my classes

BillC: good, y'know i don't recall hearing what you teach Rita

RitaZ: struggling with managers, teachers and stds. In fact, stds are the
easiest to handle :-))

BillC . o O 0 or maybe my post-40 brain isn't quite what it used to be. . .

RitaZ: EFL, Bill

BillC: wow, we have a lot of EFL types around here, don't we?

RitaZ knows what Bill refers to ...;-))

RitaZ: yep ;-)

BillC: that's great-- my master's degree is in TESOL, so it's nice to hear
some of this talk

DorisM joined the room.

RitaZ: I live in Argentina, Bill, where English is taught as a foreign lang
but still through books, tapes and CDs :-(

DorisM: Hello!

BillC: Hello Doris

DorisM: I just finished installing java.....

ThomasLev: like a heart transplant

BillC: Java ate it, huh?

DorisM: fortunetely... yes...

DorisM: I  could save  some of the data

BillC: Java's never done that to me before (so far)

RitaZ which reminds us all to do a backup again...

DorisM: I'm finally on Vacations...

DorisM: so you'll see more of me araond..

BillC: glad you got some of your data

DorisM: So, what's new?

RitaZ: are you planning to do anything in particular , Doris? any trips?

RitaZ: yes, Vance, I know

ThomasLev: not excited though, just exhausted

BillC feels choked up because he can relate. . .

DorisM: My vacations are going to be just two weeks... then we're back till
december

ThomasLev: summer was too busy, too full

BillC: yup, you said it, summers can be that way.

DorisM: Where in the world did you go on Vacations?, Vance

NinaTL joined the room.

RitaZ hugs Nina

DorisM: Hi, Nina!

BillC: Vance was chasing baggage around the world. . .

BillC .oO0(Vance's legs must still be aching from all of that running. . . )

RitaZ: I know, not in AD yet?

NinaTL: That is just so irritating

DorisM: life is a vacation....

VanceS: no, but at least it's in Houston

RitaZ: welll, only at times, Doris :-(

VanceS: I have pics, wanna see?

NinaTL: At least you probably got to stock up on new underwear and stuff

RitaZ: so how will you manage to get it, Vance?

BillC: guess i could use a vacation from my vacation :-)

VanceS: http://www.vancestevens.com/homepage2007.htm

NinaTL: I know what you mean, Bill

VanceS: Air France SHOULD deliver it to me

NinaTL: They sure should!

BillC: . . .you blogged about your baggage..?

VanceS: but they're dragging feet

DorisM: I wish I could say ... my life is a vacation.... but here most of
the time there's not enough money or time to go anywhere...

DorisM left the room (signed off).

NinaTL: Usually if I have the money I don't have the time, and vice versa

VanceS: and I'm not sure I want to trust air france to get it to me

VanceS: hi nina

NinaTL: We used to say if you take Air France, you take your chance

DorisM joined the room.

NinaTL: Don't know how true it ever was

NinaTL: wb Doris

DorisM: OOpps.

DorisM: I was kick out when trying to check on vance's link

VanceS: we put 3 bags on the plane in Houston

DorisM left the room (signed off).

DorisM joined the room.

RitaZ: beautiful pix, Vance, wheres that parade?

VanceS: that beach was empty most days, rain

NinaTL: Are those folks doing tai chi or what?

VanceS: on the one sunny day everyone turned out for it

VanceS: the parade is a procession of malades in Lourdes

DorisM: There we went again.... I'll look at te photos later.. I guess...

ThomasLev: I couldn't get the pictures on IE but on Safari it came out ok

VanceS: yeah something like tai chi

NinaTL: Now I am going to album #2

DorisM: Where was that? Vance

NinaTL: nice garlic!

VanceS: great with wine

VanceS: or cider down there in basque country

NinaTL: beautiful scenery!

VanceS: the photos of the beach were at San Sebastian

VanceS: http://www.vancestevens.com/writing.htm

NinaTL: Is the blonde lady Bobbi?

DorisM: Spain... Nice...

VanceS: yes, problably

VanceS: we went from there to St Jean Pied de Port in France

NinaTL: So are you back home and teaching now Vance?

VanceS: hiked in low pyrenees

NinaTL: Why all the red shirts?

NinaTL: or Pied de Porc haha

VanceS: then moved to higher pyranees in Cauterets and across the border
(sunshne at last) in Torla, Spain

VanceS: red shirts?

NinaTL: in the parade at Lourdes

NinaTL: I guess it was some group or  other

VanceS: the procession maybe? probably people who help the infirm get around

DorisM: They must be Chavistas!!!

RitaZ: lol Doris

VanceS: why not, good catholics

NinaTL: lol

DorisM: no they're not, then...

VanceS: LOL

RitaZ: hmm, Vance, good remark :-)

DorisM: They are not very good.... the radical ones...

NinaTL: It looks so European

NinaTL: I have never visited Spain

VanceS: sort of like the religious right in my country?

DorisM: My mom is Chavista... so I promise I'll love them all... no matter
what...

NinaTL: awesome mountains

NinaTL: Pyrenees?

VanceS: yes, the best part was Ordessa in Spain

DorisM: I can't see the photos... please, give me the link once more...

NinaTL: duh (just noticed the name of the album)

RitaZ: http://www.vancestevens.com/homepage2007.htm

NinaTL: Doris, open a second browser window and paste it in there

NinaTL: Love the pic of Vance walking a flowery path between mts

RitaZ: yeah, Nina, he looks nice!

RitaZ: very romantic

NinaTL: This is like taking a mini vacation right here at home

NinaTL: Interesting rocks

NinaTL: aw--cute one of V & B

ThomasLev: yeah, two different photo-tours- one in the city parade, the
other through the mtns.

NinaTL: What're the yellow flowers?

DorisM: Thanks, Nina!

VanceS: the hills were full of them

NinaTL: de nada

BillC: got sort of the prospector look in the mountains there

NinaTL: flax?

NinaTL: My new computer :-) has a wide screen so I can fit more stuff on
it--very convenient

VanceS: i don't know my flowers unfortunately

NinaTL: If it were Greece it might be flax

NinaTL: Was that a marmot?

VanceS: yep

BillC: what is a marmot. . ?

NinaTL: omg these are gorgeous

NinaTL: The rock formations are so neat

BillC: anything like a quagga?

NinaTL: Sedimentary I guess

VanceS: more like a groundhog

NinaTL: What's a quagga?

BillC: oh, yeha, that pic

VanceS: we saw them last year in Kyrgistan as well

BillC: the quaga was on one of the sites we looked at last week

NinaTL: How long a walk was this?

RitaZ: the one which sleeps all day? we call lazy/ silly people "marmota"
:-)

VanceS: the last quagga died recently so you don't need to know

BillC: it was like a cross between a donkey and a zebra or something like
that

NinaTL: I was shlepping around DC museums with my Japanese kids last week

NinaTL: having fun tho

VanceS: the walks were rather long, 12 hours

NinaTL: 12?????

ThomasLev: thanks, I'll remember that, Rita

NinaTL: Did you camp?

RitaZ :-)) Tom

VanceS: 1000 - 2000 meter elevation changes

NinaTL: It's spectacular

BillC: yeah, looks like you did a lot of walking

VanceS: couldn't camp thanks to air france

NinaTL: right I forgot

ClaireB joined the room.

NinaTL hugs Claire

ThomasLev: hi Claire!

RitaZ hugs Clarita!

VanceS: my backpack and its contents

VanceS: Hi Claire

ClaireB: hi guys

ClaireB: hugs all

BillC: hey Claire

ThomasLev: the luggage had great camping, but nobody to share it with

NinaTL: We are looking at Vance vacation albums

NinaTL: *Vance's

ClaireB: vance how are you doing?

NinaTL: Gorgeous mountains

DorisM: You know that this is a great idea to have chat session with
students and show them pictures and talk about them....I'm doing that next
semester... Thanks

RitaZ: Clari, its here  http://www.vancestevens.com/homepage2007.htm

NinaTL: ever a webhead!

NinaTL: Doris do you teach online or blended

DorisM: I'll invite Vance.... and evryone who wants to join

VanceS: hi claire, went back to work first time for two months today so I'm
a bit dazed

DorisM: Both

ClaireB: i can imagine

NinaTL: When do classes start for you Vance?

RitaZ: how many stny  ds did you have today, Vance?

DorisM: I have a traditional class that goes a lot to the lab

VanceS: yeah, we could show photo albums like this and talk about them with
each other's students

VanceS: no students yet, after one week

NinaTL: Yeah, at UM we start teaching on the 29th

BillC: good you've a little decompression time first

NinaTL: Now we are testing--international TAs and prospective sts

NinaTL: I had a day off Friday due to not having had a day off in 2 weeks

NinaTL: but tomorrow I have to go :-(

BillC: Nina, is that Mich, Minn or another?

VanceS: Hey Nina, nice blog project

NinaTL: Maryland, Bill (sorry)

NinaTL: Go terps!

VanceS: next time we'll get you to tag posts writingmatrix

BillC: Oh, sorry. My bad-- I'm from Minnesota, so i see um and assume the U
of M (Mn).

DorisM: Lovely photos... How is it to visit so many different places?

NinaTL: Understandable, Bill!

ClaireB: nina, is steve sharp now working in the same place as you?

NinaTL: Yes, Claire, he is!

ClaireB: then there is the u of michigan

NinaTL: How did you know? He is our new CALL coordinator

BillC: yeah, what's up with writingmatrix? Saw it on someone's blog a couple
of weeks ago.

ThomasLev: mizzou

ClaireB: cool, nina! steve is one of my favorite people

NinaTL: That's good to know!

NinaTL: I don't know him much yet

NinaTL: He just started in the summer

ClaireB: yeah, i know

VanceS: if you want to put your studetns in touch with other writingmatrix
students

NinaTL: I was mostly not there, then when I was doing the Japanese group he
was on vacation

VanceS: just have your students add writingmatrix to whatever tag they use
for each post

NinaTL: I am thinking of not having my students blog this semester--taking a
break--last semester I couldn't get them to post

ClaireB: steve was chair of the call group in tesol a year or so ago --
also, he and i hang out together at calico

VanceS: and then ...

NinaTL: I thot he is the chair now

DorisM: It's a writing project involving blogs and international students,
wrting and interacting witudents and teachers

ClaireB: maybe, but i thought that it is john madden

ClaireB: or maybe john is chair next year; i can't keep up

NinaTL: I think it's Steve but I could be mistaken

RitaZ: I need to go and cook for friends, folks..., so must leave now :-(

VanceS: and then you have them check
http://www.technorati.com/posts/tag/writingmatrix

BillC: c'ya Rita

DorisM: here you can see some of my guys blogs...
www.doris3meflcenter.blogspot.com

NinaTL: Rita, happy cooking!  Nice to see you here

VanceS: and their posts and those of other students should be there

VanceS: cya Rita

RitaZ: same, Nina, we'll keep in touch :-))

NinaTL: Yes indeed!

NinaTL hugs Rita

DorisM: Rita my students are visiting yours

ClaireB: i checked, and steve was chair last year

NinaTL: OK, thanks for correcting me!

RitaZ: great, Doris? leaving any mess?

DorisM: Yes...

ClaireB: not a big deal; steve and john are both excellent guys

DorisM: some of them have

RitaZ: good! thats good news

NinaTL: Vance I am enjoying the show of the walk at San jacinto now

NinaTL: very nice!

RitaZ: Im striving again to motivate them, lazy again ...

DorisM: we are continuing with blogging next semester... that's in two weeks

ThomasLev: one of my students dumped our entire blog

VanceS: that was a surprisingly nice hike

ThomasLev: accidentally

NinaTL: I will use a wiki for a class web page again

ClaireB: why surprising, vance?

DorisM: Wow look at those waterfalls...

NinaTL: but maybe no blogs

DorisM: refreshing

RitaZ: ok, the fish is already marinated..., waiting to be cooked...;-)
sorry to leave you...

NinaTL: One of our teachers coordinated a 3-week summer program where she
had a program wiki and each participant had his/her own page on the wiki.

ThomasLev: take care Rita!

NinaTL: She created the pages and then let them post their impressions

BillC: Been fun chatting everyone, gotta go. Thanks for the virtual vacation
in the Pyrenees, Vance!

RitaZ: bye all, have a good week ahead

NinaTL: I haven't seen it yet

DorisM: Bye Rita

NinaTL: Same to you Rita!

VanceS: I guess because you ride a cable car up (or walk all day) and there
are no cars up there, nothing to pollute ..

RitaZ: thanks, Nina

VanceS: ciao bill

RitaZ left the room (signed off).

BillC left the room (signed off).

DorisM: Bye Bill

NinaTL: You can see what she did at tunghaimei.wikispaces.com and click on
Students

NinaTL: It's a great idea!

DorisM: Working with blogss. the students get the chance to epore with
multipletools... each different GRoup I have uses blogs in a different way

ClaireB: epore?

NinaTL: explore?

DorisM: sorry

DorisM: yes, my compu sometimes goes slow and sometimes fast... crazy

VanceS: you can tell us about it in your K-12 presentation :-)

DorisM: yes the y experiment with video, audio, gadgets...

VanceS: and show us

DorisM: mY K-12 presentation?

VanceS: you can download cam studio and make a short tour of your students'
blogs

VanceS: aren't you with us in the k-12 event in October?

DorisM: Well, now thAT I have some freE time .. I'm writing my experiences
at ou our wiki... writingmatrix project

VanceS: I'll check there now

DorisM: October.... I thought I missed it......

VanceS: that was another one

VanceS: you missed the WiAOC one

DorisM: cam studio?

VanceS: http://writingmatrix.wikispaces.com/k12online2007

DorisM: Ok... so I still have the chance....

VanceS: it's an asynch presentation

VanceS: we'll have to recrd sometinng

ThomasLev: tunghaimei keeps blowing out my Safari

NinaTL: Sorry

NinaTL: Firefox is okay with it

ThomasLev: she must be doing something cool with her blog

VanceS: so one way to do that is to run CamStudio and show some of your
students blogs

DorisM: Ok... I'll start working on that

ClaireB: my chat is doing something weird - I get no text for a long time
and then a big burst with many lines

VanceS: I've seen that before claire

DorisM: that's happening to me tooo

VanceS: it could be TI is about to crash

VanceS: but mine appears normal

NinaTL: Mine is normal

NinaTL: Can I ask a question about gmt?

NinaTL: I have scheduled a chat here with my Japanese kids on Sept. 28/29

DorisM: gmt?

VanceS: ok

DorisM: ahh... ok... time

NinaTL: I want it to be 10 pm here (gmt -4...or 5?) and that should be 11 am
the following day for them

NinaTL: I want to put it on the YG calendar

VanceS: for which YG?

ThomasLev: I got Tunghai ok on IE

ThomasLev: It's a program, not a student!

DorisM: that always drives me crazy... time differences.... oh lord

NinaTL: So first I need to figure out why in some places (YG) EDT is GMT -5
when I know that during the summer months we are actually gmt - 4.

NinaTL: Our chat here starts at 8 am for me during daylight savings and 7 am
in the winter

ClaireB: so nina, are the japanese students now back in japan?

VanceS: use http://www.timeanddate.com /worldclock/fixedform.html

DorisM: we are always -4 in Venezuela

NinaTL: Yes, Claire, they left on Thursday after a very successful and fun 2
weeks

ClaireB: yes, i remember your twit about that

NinaTL: Do you change for daylight savings Doris? gmt doesn't change

NinaTL: right!

VanceS: we are always +4, no DST here

DorisM: Nope....

VanceS: but London has DST

NinaTL: Anyway if I am gmt - 5 the chat should be 3 am Sept 29, right?

DorisM: we are -4 gmt alwyas

VanceS: use http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedform.html

VanceS . o O ( does the thinking for you )

NinaTL: I will check it in a minute

NinaTL: my question is actually about the YG

VanceS . o O ( and is always correct )

VanceS: which YG?

NinaTL: If I set my own time zone as EDT, or EST or whatever

NinaTL: and schedule the chat on the Calendar in GMT...

NinaTL: will it appear on my Calendar in EDT or GMT?  Will it appear on the
students' YG Calendar as Tokyo time or GMT?

NinaTL: Here at TI, each person's calendar reflects his/her own time zone,
right? How about in Yahoo Groups?

DorisM: where do I get Cam Studio? is it free? Vance

NinaTL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group.agu

VanceS: we could experiment, shall we use the webheads YG (we are all
members?)

VanceS: camstudio is free - http://www.camstudio.org/

NinaTL: I set fixed time at 10 pm Sept 28 Wash DC time

NinaTL: and it gives me 11 am Sept 29 Tokyo time

ClaireB: vance have you had success with camstudio? I was never able to get
it to work properly

NinaTL: That much I knew

NinaTL: I am a member, yes

VanceS: I use camtasia personally

VanceS: i know someone at work who uses camstudio successfully

VanceS: I've got it here, I can try it

NinaTL: YG?

NinaTL: I am there in Calendar

VanceS: but that is your group, correct?

NinaTL: Which date are you fixing? How about next Sunday's chat?

ClaireB: yeah, i use camtasia and a mac-based product

NinaTL: I am in evonline2002_webheads now

ClaireB: but my grad students can't pay for camtasia

NinaTL: but I never set my time zone here

VanceS: oh, ok, set a calendar event and give us its url

NinaTL: How do I set the time zone?

VanceS: I just used camstudio to record a region of the screen and it's
playing it back now

VanceS: it was easier than camtasia but didn't give me a wide range f
options

VanceS: but I didn't record

VanceS: voice

ClaireB: we spent about an hour playing with it and couldn't get the sound
to work -- perhaps something specific to our lab

VanceS: the version I saw before didn't do regions

VanceS: ok, I'll try with sound

ClaireB: we had no trouble getting it to just record the screen

ClaireB: i have a mac product that works like a dream

ThomasLev: tell

NinaTL: (It just tells me my reminders will be sent in GMT +0

BarbaraS1 joined the room.

VanceS: I did the sound

VanceS: it worked

ThomasLev: Hi Barbara

ClaireB: good deal

NinaTL: Hi Bobbi! We enjoyed your vacation albums

ClaireB: hi bobbi!

VanceS: bobbi is on TI in vista

VanceS: and has no java chat window

ClaireB: kewl

ClaireB: so can she type?

VanceS: IE and vista

VanceS: not yet, it's coming slowly

NinaTL: I have Vista on my new computer

VanceS: now she's got it

ClaireB: i have heard that there are "issues" with ie and vista

BarbaraS1: hihiH

ClaireB: vance, i noticed that you left a couple of twitters, but last week
one of you said that twitter is banned there

VanceS: vista looks kewl but has issues

NinaTL: I am still trying to figure out how to do stuff I had on the old
one--like putting buttons for gmail inox and bloglines on the task bar--did
I have to install goggle taskbar for that? I can't remember.

VanceS: yes twitter is blocked in UAE

BarbaraS1: thanks

NinaTL: I never use IE if I can help it, prefer firefox

VanceS: I have on one of my computers a .. shhhhh

VanceS whispers "a VPN"

VanceS: it 'tunnels' beneath the censor

NinaTL: OK I set up the calendar for Sunday chats here

NinaTL: What does it look like on your end?  I never figured out how to
reset the time zone though

VanceS: ok what is the url for the calendar

BarbaraS1: me too...I prefer Firefox

NinaTL:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/evonline2002_webheads/cal///group/evonline2002_webheads/?v=6&t=1188129600&pv=2&i=186

NinaTL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/evonline2002_webheads/cal

ClaireB: thanks vance, i'll try to be more discreet

NinaTL: That's the main url

BarbaraS1: For some reason, this is very slow

NinaTL: The first one was for the month

VanceS: hehe

VanceS: the calendar looks like this —¿Ÿ

VanceS: what date did you enter

NinaTL: Every Sunday starting next week (26th)

VanceS: I see GMT here

NinaTL: Do you think it's just not possible to set it for a particular time
zone?

NinaTL: I was hoping it would be like TI--set it in 1 time zone and it
automatically translates into the correct time zone for each user--but maybe
YG doesn't have that capability

VanceS: does everyone else see it as noon gmt?

VanceS: I changed it a little bit

NinaTL: How?

BarbaraS1 left the room (signed off).

VanceS: I'm going to see if I can put a URL in

ClaireB: guys, on friday i attended a cool event:
http://twitter.com/OnAirBusTour

VanceS starts up VPN so he can see ...

ClaireB: these guys from adobe are doing a bus tour, stopping off in various
cities. sometimes they have a live video stream from the bus

ClaireB: they were in pittsburgh on friday, and they did cool software demos

VanceS: it doesn't appear you can put html here

VanceS: in the YG calendar I mean

NinaTL: I don;t know html in any case

ClaireB: neither does vance lol

NinaTL: Well I have to go...

NinaTL: I guess I will just post in gmt

ClaireB: have a great day, nina

VanceS: did you see this note

NinaTL: and post messages specifying what that means in different places

VanceS: Note:

VanceS: under Edit

VanceS: Your reminder(s) will be sent in GMT +00:00 time.  If this is not
your time zone, change it before saving this event.

VanceS: so I problably set the group time zone to GMT

NinaTL: I think they mean change it if everyone using the YG is in the same
time zone

NinaTL: If I put 10 pm Friday night and the Japanese go to Tapped In at 10
pm Friday night, I won't be there!

VanceS: yes and by convention and agreement we all use GMT

ClaireB: using gmt is the only solution for our group, i think

NinaTL: It's one more thing I have to educate them about

NinaTL: Our group, certainly

NinaTL: AGU--more problematic

ClaireB: right

NinaTL: Already they have had to create a google account (for Blogger) and a
yahoo account (for the YG) and figure out Tapped In.... and I showed them
Bubbleshare

VanceS: actually trying to deal with multiple time zones is more problematic

NinaTL: It was a steep learning curve!

NinaTL: But we had fun

NinaTL: You can see our blog (with links to theirs) at
http://agu2007.blogspot.com

VanceS: everyone learning his/her GMT equivalent is a one-step process

NinaTL: Berta and Dennis helped out by reading and commenting on blogs--they
were great

DorisM: dI'm downloading camstudio from a site called soundforge ...
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=131922&package_id=144908&release_id=318532

ClaireB: tom what are you up to this week?

VanceS: good, it works well Doris

DorisM: but i don't know which one to dowload... do you guys have a ny
idea...

NinaTL: and Dennis, Teresa, Sasha came to TI for practice chats

NinaTL: Webheads really made a difference in this program

NinaTL: Anyway have a great week everyone

NinaTL: See you next Sunday

NinaTL left the room (signed off).

ClaireB: have a great week, nina say

ClaireB: i should go -- busy week ahead!

DorisM: I think I have to download the codec, too...

ClaireB: bye guys

DorisM: Bye Claire...

ClaireB left the room (signed off).

VanceS: there in an mp3 you need

DorisM: mp3....

DorisM: mp3?

DorisM: I'm going to download the one that says ... source zip... right?

DorisM: or the window one?

ThomasLev: sorry to say, I left the computer for a spell

ThomasLev: and missed Claire's question

ThomasLev: guess I'll twitter her...

ThomasLev: but, now, I have to sign off

DorisM: Bye .. Got t o goo too... Nice chat bye tom and Indi

DorisM left the room (signed off).
